A seminar was held in Management Sciences department at COMSATS University Islamabad,
Sahiwal Campus. To objective of said seminar was to create understanding about Applied
Sociology Opportunities & Challenges, Prejudice & Culture, and Career Development.
Mr. Ahmad Khawar Shahzad, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Sahiwal, Prof.
Muhammad Jalil Butt and Mr. Sohaib Nashit (a Young Pakistani Star), from YALE/NUS,
Singapore were the Guest speakers.
The said seminar was attended by Dr. Muhammad Asrar ul Haq, Incharge Management
Sciences department, Mr. Safdar Ali, Deputy Registrar and large number of students.
Mr. Sohaib Nashit (a Young Pakistani Star), YES alumni shared his success story
which was very convincing and appreciated by all participants. The Guest Speakers
interacted with Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat, Worthy Campus Director in his office.
He thanked them for putting valuable time with the students. The session ended up
with Q&As followed by the group photo.
