Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) team visited COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal
Campus for the accreditation of Mechanical, Electrical & Computer Engineering programs.
The purpose of this visit was to see the labs, faculty and infrastructure facilities
available to students for the accreditation of Mechanical, Electrical & Computer
Engineering programs.
Director CUI, Sahiwal Campus Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat welcomed team members
and briefed them regarding role of CUI in Sahiwal, research publications by faculty
members, status of PhD faculty, agendas, different curricular and co-curricular
activities in university.
PEC team also visited E-Rozgaar Center, Students Services Office, Library, Server
Room, Sports Grounds & other facility providing places at CUI, Sahiwal Campus. PEC
team also met with campus alumni. PEC team find the faculty, staff, labs and infrastructure
requirements according to the criteria and made some commendations for the improvements.
Director Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat welcomed the suggestions and ensured team
members to integrate valuable input for greater interest of students. Worthy Director
presented souvenirs to PEC team.
